Sharing our talents to help others
Ikayuq (ee-guy-yook) is a Yup'ik word that means “to help.” At Yuit we are always on the lookout for opportunities to help others. Whether it’s developing a
website for a non-profit on a limited budget, or providing donations and services to help raise funds for a worthy cause, we love being a force for good in
Do you know of a non-profit organization that needs help communicating? Share their story with us and we’ll see if we can help. firstname.lastname@example.org
UAA Journalism and Communications - Smoke-Free Campaign
Yuit Partner Mariajose Echeverria-Stewart volunteered to help the UAA Journalism and Communications Department with their Smoke-Free Campaign. The goal of the campaign
is to advocate for a 100% smoke-free campus policy at the University of Alaska Anchorage by 2015. See results from the April 8-9 election at https://www.facebook.com/smokefreeuaa.
Mariajose designed and created marketing materials to promote a healthy, smoke-free UAA.
